Art printing

As part of our solar unit we made printing blocks in class and it was really fun. Some bits were really hard for me , like cutting it out and gluing it onto the thick card board. base. The best part was the Inking! The colours I used for the Inking were: orange, blue and yellow. I made three templates of the sun. We printed most of them on paper and one of them in our art book.

For my first block I just made a design and then pressed hard on it with a pen; it’s the orange one. After that I added extra detail and printed it again. Next I made a second block by drawing design and then cutting it out and gluing it onto a base. I pressed a design onto it as well. Its the blue one. My final block is the yellow one. It has the pieces of my drawing stick on the base and I added only a small bit of detail by pressing hard on it. I like my blue on the best!
